James has been with The Pride of Murray since 2009. He has been piping since he was 15 and was originally taught as a solo player. Having spent a number of years playing the amateur English solo circuits (where he picked up a number of medals), James joined The Pride when he moved to London after finishing university. He is now enjoying the competition band scene and excels at imitating the pipe major and scowling at new members.
