The Colchester gathering unfolded like a modern day Lord of the Rings movie, with injuries, people to the wayside, broken cars, exhausted bagpipers, and high drama all amidst the usual glorious sunshine and dazzling heat of Colchester. Despite all the odds, like the true warriors they were, The Pride overcame all odds to win Grade 3 and come second in Grade 2.

In 2006 The Pride went into the recording studio for a day to record a few tunes for the soundtrack to the film "Goya's Ghosts". The movie has now been released in the UK. Recommend this article... |

Pipe Major Graham wasn’t taking the Mickey; it was confirmed, so off to Paris we went, carry oot and pringles at the ready. The carriage that awaited us was superb, a luxurious double-decker belonging to a top football team. The guys loved pretending to be footballers , Bernie, Amy and myself could have been mistaken for footballers’ wives with our Louis Vuitton pipe and drum cases and of course our looks!
